How Female Founders Are Building Wellness Brands Around Recovery, Regulation & Human Connection
In a world defined by burnout, overstimulation, and constant performance pressure, wellness is evolving into something far deeper than self-care — it’s becoming essential infrastructure for how people recover, regulate, and reconnect.
In this conversation, female founders from some of Australia’s leading wellness brands share how they’ve transformed this growing human need into impactful businesses and communities. From immersive recovery experiences to sound therapy and intentional wellness spaces, this panel explores the intersection of purpose, innovation, consumer behaviour, and leadership — and how modern wellness founders are building brands that people emotionally connect with and keep coming back to.
The most powerful ideas don't always come from the stage—they come from the conversations around the table.
Ring of Fire is an interactive leadership roundtable where delegates will tackle the biggest opportunities and challenges shaping the future of the fitness, health and wellness industry.
Together, you'll exchange ideas, challenge assumptions, and learn from the collective experience of fellow founders, executives, managers and emerging leaders.
Each discussion is designed to spark fresh thinking, practical solutions and meaningful connections that continue long after the event.
This isn't about finding the perfect answer.
It's about sharing perspectives, challenging each other's thinking, and leaving with new ideas, new connections and renewed confidence.
Because when leaders come together, we all step into our power.
Panel : Clare Gioules (FLG) Danielle Monroy (Planet Fitness Australia), Adriana Kalidis (PCYC NSW) and Jodie Sims (Viva Leisure)
The Leadership Behind Experiences That Empower People To Keep Showing Up:
In today’s fitness, health and wellness landscape, members are seeking more than workouts — they’re looking for spaces where they feel confident, connected, supported, and inspired to return.
People rarely stay because of equipment alone. They stay because of how a place makes them feel.
In this conversation, executive leaders from some of Australia’s most influential fitness and community organisations explore the leadership, culture, and member experiences that turn fitness spaces into places people genuinely want to keep showing up to. From empowering frontline teams to building communities that foster belonging and confidence, this panel examines what it really takes to create powerful spaces that drive both impact and retention.

All things considered, we look to be clear of lockdowns but, well, we just can’t know for sure! We’re as committed to making this happen as we’ve ever been and look forward to sharing this amazing experience with you.
Here are a few things to note.
If COVID (or some other unforeseen force majeure) prevents us from holding the live event in Sydney or Auckland, we’ll move to an online (and still awesome) version of the event. This means that we’ll automatically transfer your ticket to a virtual seat.
Once you purchase or make a deposit on a ticket, you are considered a registered attendee of the Fuel Women’s Fitness Business Summit 2026. If you need to cancel for any reason, you’ll need to send an email to deborah@fuel-summit.com requesting a cancellation.
We really appreciate your support and understanding as supplier commitments often require us to make non-refundable payments based on attendee numbers anywhere from 12 weeks out from the event.
In the event that you really can’t make the event, we fully encourage you to transfer the ticket to someone else who would benefit from attending. You can transfer your ticket to a friend, colleague or family member anytime up to 72 hrs prior to the event. Simply send an email to deborah@fuel-summit.com with your transfer request and connect us to the person who’ll be taking your ticket.
In the case that you’re planning to travel to Sydney or Auckland and will incur travel and/or accommodation costs, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. You’ll want to ensure that the policy you take out covers COVID-related disruptions, among other things. Your credit card may also provide some level of coverage. We can’t advise you on this so it’s best to do your own research to make sure you feel confident in your choice of coverage.
